Course Name : 3D Modeling and Analysis Type of Course : Elective Course Available to : 11th and 12th grade
Prerequisites : Survey of Engineering Graphics ( 74 %+)
Description : This is the third course in the Engineering Drafting and Design pathway . Reverse engineering strategies are recommended for third level working drawings . Computer-aided design ( CAD ) is recommended for use extensively with each standard in the course . Focus is on employability strategies , career studies , applied math , fasteners , working drawings , and assembly drawings . The final culmination is a presentation project that contains information mastered throughout the three courses . Students who successfully complete this should be prepared to take an End of Pathway Assessment ( EOPA ) to be able to earn an industryrecognized credential .
Course Name : Technical Manufacturing and Concepts Type of Course : Elective Course Available to : 11th - 12th grade
Prerequisites : 3D Modeling and Analysis ( 90 %+) and teacher approval
Description : This course goes beyond the Engineering Drafting and Design pathway as a fourth additional course . This course allows students to develop skills in working drawings , and the manufacturing process with a focus on the mastery of using the CNC for an independent project . Students who wish to take this course must be self-starters and have good time management skills as this is an independent study course .

Course Name : Introduction to Career Competencies Type of Course : Elective Course
Available to : 9th - 11th grade
Prerequisites : None
Description : This course is designed for students to acquire employability skills that ease their transition to the workforce . Specific skills within the course provide additional opportunities for students to sharpen academic and employability skills , financial literacy , multiple forms of communication strategies , mastery of technology and specific-related tools , workplace safety , and self-advocacy approaches . Through participation in this career pathway , students will learn about the world of work by achieving academic challenges , participating in project-based learning activities , workplace enrichment experiences , and participation in a Career and Technical Student Organization ( CTSO ) that provides innerpersonal and group-related leadership skills .
