Course Name: Sports and Entertainment Marketing Type of Course: Elective Course Available to: 10th- 12th grade
Prerequisites: Marketing Principles( 70 %+)
Description: This is the second course in the Sports and Entertainment Marketing Pathway. This course introduces the student to the major segments of the Sports and Entertainment Industry and the social and economic impact the industry has on the local, state, national, and global economies. The course examines the unique challenges and opportunities of sports and entertainment marketing, including sponsorship, branding media relations, fan engagement, and event management.

Available to: 11th and 12th grade
Prerequisites: Sports and Entertainment Marketing( 70 %+)
Description: This is the third course in the Sports and Entertainment Marketing Pathway. This course provides students opportunities to develop managerial and analytical skills and deepen their knowledge in sports / entertainment marketing. Students will acquire managerial and analytical skills and deepen their knowledge in the sports and entertainment marketing field. Students will examine the sports and entertainment marketing functions and will cover event planning, venue selection, logistics, promotion, endorsements, and sponsorships. Students will also learn effective sports, entertainment and event management strategies that engage audiences, build brands, and generate revenue. Students who successfully complete this should be prepared to take an End of Pathway Assessment( EOPA) to be able to earn an industry-recognized credential.
