Q: Tell us about how you feel as a SLAKE graduate.
I feel more confident to communicate with other
people as the programme has helped to enhance my
knowledge and skills in communication. I also see
myself improved in my writing skills which is evidenced
in the technical report writing that we were taught in
the programme. As a SLAKE graduate, I am now more
confident to present to the top management team.
Q: What were your expectations from the SLAKE
Programme?
I expected to see myself improving in my personal
development and be better in my overall wellbeing.
The programme has proved to me that I have changed
for the better. As the saying goes, the proof of the
pudding is in the eating.
Q: Which part of the programme did you enjoy the
most and why?
I enjoyed the English proficiency classes the most. The
classes had taught me to speak the language with
confidence. It enabled me to present my presentation
more confidently as well.
Q: Three things that we don’t know about you.
I am a shy person, a perfectionist and I love challenges.
Q: What is your life motto?
Life is our choice, take it or leave it. It depends on us.
