Q: How do you feel as a SLAKE graduate?
It’s a great feeling. I feel happy and relief at the same time
as I finally managed to complete and graduate from the
programme. I’m definitely very proud of myself to be the
first batch of SLAKE graduates.

Q: Tell us something you are proud of.
I felt proud and happy because throughout the
programme, I was able to juggle a lot of different things at
once, for example work, projects, assignments, journal
reports and spending time with my family. That feeling
when you realise how far you have come and how much
you could actually accomplish is indescribable. I just
couldn’t explain my happiness.
Q: Which part of the programme did you enjoy the most
and why?
The part that I enjoyed the most in this programme is the
presentation session. I remember practising and preparing
for the presentation every day before meeting all the
HODs.
Q: Tell us something you are proud of.
I felt proud to be given a presentation in front of the
HODs. The presentation cured me of my public speaking
woes.
Q: Any tips to share with the upcoming SLAKE
participants?
For the upcoming SLAKE participants, I hope they will
always be confident and stay positive. Don’t give up. Face
the CHALLENGE, look for a way, not a way out.
Q: Food you can't live without.
Spicy food! I eat all kinds of food and one of it must be
spicy. My favourite is a Malay dish called masak lemak cili
api.
Q: What's your life motto?
My life motto is “Always Think Positive.”
“Don’t give up. Face the challenge,
look for a way, not a way out.”
