Name: Alex Theriault Number of Years on the Team: 2
Why did you join: I’ ve always found designing and working with my hands interesting, and after hearing about Buzz through my friends, I knew right away it was the perfect team for me.
Favorite part of Buzz: The best part about working on the Buzz team is easily the experience of working with seasoned engineers who have the first-hand knowledge. To work so closely with such great minds has quickly made this my life long passion.
Most memorable moment in your time on Buzz: The moment that has stuck with me the most was seeing the victory screen for the final match at the WPI competition last year. The silence right before the reveal and sudden excitement in the room when the screen lit up with the results was truly amazing. The immense feeling of success after the many weeks of hard work will stick with me for years to come.
Future plans: After this year, I hope to attend WPI and receive a major in chemical engineering and a possible minor in biomedical engineering. I’ ve also applied to Syracuse, UConn, Lafayette, UMass, Bucknell, and Northeastern.
