Arsenal F.C.

Arsenal F.C. are not included in this list because of the 8 years without trophies. However, despite this, Arsenal F.C. have proven time and time again that they are a good team. Consistently making the top 4 (qualifying for Champions League), they have been able to compete with the likes of Bayern Munich. Known as a non spending club, they have many simularities with the Premier League champions Manchester United. Arsenal have also got an owner who holds back the club, despite being the richest man in Russia. Whilst they may not have the budget to compete with Chelsea and others, they have built a club that play consistently. On top of this, Arsenal F.C. have made more money off sales (transfers sales) then any other club. Buying small time players and turning them into big stars seem to be the main highlight for Arsenal. Going back to trophies, they do not seem to have much trophies to go around. Despite being known as the Invincibles for not loosing in the 2003 , they have little to talk about now. This may go back to the selling their players. Selling their big stars (Robin Van Persie) may generate the income needed to pay off debt, but it leaves them with a lack of players. Despite not winning though, Arsenal F.C. have a massive fanbase. With dedicated Gunners (Arsenal fans) around the world, Arsenal have pulled together many sales. This money has all gone to the stadium debt that has crippled Arsenal for many years. However, with Gary Neville saying the debt is nearly paid, Arsenal are in a strong position financially. With their massive fanbase and intelligent sales, they can soon compete financially, which is what football is now about.
