-Chelsea first trophy was in 1954-1955, where they won the first division trophy (now known as the Barclays Premier League).
-Chelsea have shown domination over the cups around the world. Although they have only won 4 First division titles/BPL titles, they have won 15 major trophies since 1997. Supporting the fact they are more of a cup team, they have won 5 FA Cups in the past 10 years.
-Chelsea F.C. are the only british team to win all 3 major trophies of UEFA competitions. They are Europa league, Champions league and home cup (BPL). Not even Manchester United have accomplished this.
-Chelsea have the record for the highest finish in the premier league. Finishing the league on 95 points under Jose Mourinho, they can hope that he brings the same amount of success again this year.
As seen, chelsea is not limited when it comes to trophies. Being a European Super club for more than 10 years now, they have dominated several competitions. Winning many FA cups in the past 7 years, chelsea have proven once again that they are a cup team. Winning a weak number of Premier League trophies, I do not see this changing in the future. Despite having the highest finish for the Premier league division, they have not shown consistently that they are title contenders. Often being outclassed in the long run, chelsea can only hope that their domestic cups do not run out. I believe that chelsea do quite poor in this section, having little to brag about in premier league titles. For me, they need to win more premier league trophies to do well in this section.
