Does spending ensure trophies?
With Chelsea being a top competitior this year for the BPL trophy, they have a good chance at doing well this year. Being backed by the manager, Jose Mourinho, to win silverware this year, they have a good team to compete for the 2014 Premier League title. Supporting this, Chelsea's seasons in the past 10 years have been excellent. Being constant FA Cup contesters, they have shown determination to be recognized as a team. Despite their cup success, Chelsea have lacked the killer instinct to constistently win the league title. Only winning 4 Barclays Premier League titles, can they actually compete for league titles in the next few years?
