Acceptance

The girls were encouraged to‘ Accept the Challenge’ in several areas of their emotional and social development. Green was the colour, which just happens to represent tranquillity, harmony, health and well-being.
We learnt to recognise and be aware of our emotions and how to express and deal with them in appropriate ways. We learnt to accept ourselves for the beautiful, unique people we are, as well as to challenge ourselves scholastically.

Rewards for accepting the challenge were given in the form of green flower stickers and at the end of the term the girls got flowers to make a spring headband.
These skills will undoubtedly add yet another dimension to the all-round development of our young ladies.

Empathy, health, exercise, environmental awareness and diversity were all issues dealt with in an ageappropriate manner and several fun activities.
We had friendship day, secret friend week and we learnt about“ bucket filling”( emotional awareness).
Fun challenges such as dance for health, joy in the hall, green apple day, green dress up day and green healthy lunch box day were enjoyed. We even grew
