Awareness
The colour orange was synonymous with awareness in the second term. Each teacher was given an orange flower to put up in the classroom. Grace had a magnifying glass to remind us to keep our eyes open at all times. We were encouraged to make a special effort to work and dress neatly and to be ever mindful of our families, teachers and friends, as well as those less fortunate than we are. There was a flash mob that focussed on litter clean up and to remind us to be aware of our beautiful environment at school.
There was a healthy lunch box day and it was interesting to see how creative the girls were! Everyone could earn orange stickers for their charts. We had a current affairs and general knowledge quiz at the end of the term, to inspire the young Wynberg
ladies to be aware of of what happens in our world.
