Accuracy
We kicked off Term 1 with accuracy. Our girls were encouraged to aim for accuracy by setting goals and trying to reach them. Our goals were displayed on‘ target’ boards outside the classroom.
To demonstrate the importance of accuracy we had a science week where each class got to conduct a different science experiment each day of the week. This is when the girls learnt the importance of accurate measuring and following instructions so that the outcome wasn’ t a flop!
colour turquoise was a constant reminder for us to aim for accuracy and the girls earned turquoise flower stickers. After earning 10 stickers they could wear a lumo bracelet so that everyone could see how accurate they are.
We also had a maths speed test challenge day and a touch of turquoise civvies day to celebrate our accuracy.
Accuracy is a catchphrase that is still used frequently by the girls which shows that they have gained another excellent life skill.
