Grade 4

when we were knitting in
aftercare and I also enjoyed

“I like arts and crafts, for example
making cards for my friends because it makes them
feel special.”
“I liked decorating biscuits with icing. It was delicious.”
“I enjoyed when we did Irish dancing. There were so
many fun things.”
“I sure did enjoy all the things we did like sewing on
buttons and making cards.”
Grade 5
“My highlight of aftercare was when we were sewing
for Easter, we made wonderful Easter cards and it was
fun making it.”
“I loved the smoothies that the teachers made for us, it
tasted delicious and we enjoyed it.”
“Sometimes at the end of the term we have a movie
day and the teachers make us popcorn.”
“I like aftercare because the teachers are nice and help
us improve.”
Grade 6 and 7
“It was so much fun when we did the games day.
My favourite game was 30 Seconds.”
“My favourite of all was the Zumba lessons. I had a
fantastic time while I was dancing because it made me
feel confident and put me in a good mood.”
“Our aftercare is the best. They try so hard to make us
happy. Every Friday we get a treat, but it’s not a must
it’s a privilege.”
“Sewing on buttons was so much fun. The new skill I
learnt is very handy now”.
