S J B W d n a S J G W t a s s e h C This year the chess girls have used their Growth Mindset skills. They have persevered through some tough matches. By applying the skills they learned on Tuesdays and Thursdays they have become more confident in using chess openings and set plays in order to win some of the matches. WGJS sent some of our chess players to Western Province trials and Tejal Naicker, Sua Sung, Emily Engel and Chichi Hove made it to the second rounds. With more coaching, I am sure next year they will reach the third round. Well done to all the chess players.
