Wa
Water-polo has been such fun this year!
Whilst the water crisis affected our matches drastically, with
venues being cut throughout Term 1 on an ongoing basis,
our girls still managed to play some really exciting friendlies
and soon established themselves as a spirited force to be
reckoned with.
We were fortunate to have the use of the girls high school
polo pool and played as many matches as we could at this
venue. Our U11 teams learnt quickly and produced some
pleasing polo and our U12 and U13 players developed
stamina and skill.
Our training programme produced good successes at the
All Girls Festival and we attended some epic tournaments
during the term, although these were also curtailed due to the
water shortage. We hope for growth in the number of our girls
playing this exciting sport.
We continue to strive for greatness in the Water-Polo pool –
this is a sport that our girls take to like ducks to water and
which is so good for them, both mentally and physically.
