Steady Hand Game
The Grade 6’s were required to make a steady hand
game for Grade 2 learners to test their hand-eye co-
ordination. We were put into groups of three and had
to make a successful working circuit to go with the
game. We also had to do a write up about our project’s
design aims, design constraints, the tools we used, the
materials and the method. We had to bring the following
materials to school: A small bulb or LED, buzzer, 9v
battery, battery connectors, a wooden plank for the
base, thin wires for the circuit and thick wire that was
bendable. This game taught us how to be innovative
and although we struggled, we powered through. In the
end we had a very valuable experience and had fun
making this for the younger girls.
