This year being in the SRC has been a blast.
The responsibilities that we were given as SRC members
were difficult at times, but we had each other to rely on.
We each had a role to play and we all made sure we
played that role and still tried to set good examples for
the younger kids.
The Grade 7 girls were able to choose one of the four
different pillars to be part of so that everybody could
share their ideas. The leaders of these pillars worked
extra hard to make sure everybody’s ideas were heard,
and alongside them, our fabulous teachers were
educating and helping them every step of the way.
Throughout the year the SRC truly learnt what being
a leader meant, we discovered new things about
ourselves and developed new friendships that will
probably last a lifetime. We thank Wynberg for teaching
us the importance of responsibility, we promise to take
all the lessons we have learnt on this amazing journey
and carry them with us for the rest of our lives.
