We wished Gail Sherry a happy retirement after a long
service at WGJS. We also said goodbye to Jonothan
Matanzima from our maintenance team.
The much loved Thelma Skippers from our Aftercare
will be retiring at the end of the year and we wish her
a very happy retirement. We will always remember her
storytelling to entertain us in the afternoons.
Our very busy marketing and communications manager,
Aneeqa Said, decided to ‘jump the fence’ after her
maternity leave and has taken up a position at Wynberg
Boys’ Junior school. We look forward to having her just
next door. Wanika Davids will be taking over this role.
Some of our interns will be moving on in their careers
namely, Megan Kabeya from Aftercare, Jessica Tuckniss
from Grade R and Shihaam Morris, Dale Maree and
Cara Geere from the Intersen Phase.
Finally, Ashleigh Scribani, Rosie Cumming, Leaveil
Jarvis and Natasha Raats will be embarking on new
adventures.
Thank you to each and every member of our staff who
has given so much of themselves to make 2018 such a
year to remember.
