T
echnology is paving the way for Wewoka Students. Our district is one to one Chromebooks
or Chrome Tablets in grades K through 12th. We start teaching computer coding in the third
grade because we want our students to be computer literate and prepared for their educational
studies and careers. We are a creative and innovative school district that offers flexible learning
opportunities as well as a traditional path. We compete with robotics at the high school level, and our
students receive Career Tech credit through Gordon Cooper for participating in the program.
Wewoka Public Schools is dedicated to educating the whole child. We offer a progressive vision
for providing our students nontraditional, innovative, and flexible learning opportunities as well
as a traditional path. Wewoka Public Schools offers courses that prepare our students to meet the
demands of today and the future. It is our belief that all students can learn and Wewoka Public

We have also added many programs that include STEM, Archery, Drones, Rockets, Coding and
Tennis. At Wewoka we want to provide our students with opportunities for career exploration in
many different areas so that they will be prepared when it is time to make the important decisions in
life as well as activities that will enrich the lives of our students.
