Jayce Ray Sheffi eld was a student in the sixth grade at Wewoka
Middle School. Jayce had been on the student committee
organized by their principal, Darrell Brown, to design and
develop a skate park for the City of Wewoka. The committee
had toured several different skate parks in the state of Oklahoma
looking at all the possibilities for the perfect skate park for their
town.
Jayce had always dreamed of having something in his town
named after him one day. The Jayce Ray Sheffi eld Memorial
Skate Park had been made possible by his family, friends and
businesses in the community that have donated their time and
money toward this project. It is a great honor for his family that
this skate park be named after Jayce.
