wellpreneur spotlight Continued… And then there were my kids. When you watch your child suffer, it breaks your heart. You wish them nothing but health and happiness. My husband and I knew that we were responsible for making the necessary health changes for our children. As parents we are given a chance to be proactive instead of reactive in both our own health and that of our children. We realized that we are their role models and must lead by example. In hindsight, I really wish that I had someone to assist me and guide me as I navigated my way through. This is what I want to offer all parents. What have been some of your failures with your business? I don’t believe I have failed at anything, however the lessons I have learned include: 1. Trying to do every thing on my own. I spent hours watching You-tube videos on websites and funnels. I lost hours of productivity that I could have spent marketing myself. I eventually employed a Business Coach to help with clarity and direction. I also sourced Kylie Malcolm to redesign my website. In hindsight, I really wish I had prioritized this part of my business plan much sooner. It is important to work out what requirements you feel you need to run your business the way you want it to flow (website, email automation, photos etc). This will help you identify what you can outsource and what you can do on your own. 2. I didn’t have a set structure for my coaching sessions. More recently I have implemented session record forms in alignment with the programs I am offering. I am finding this mode of delivery beneficial for both the client and myself. It assists with accountability and is a fantastic record keeping tool. 14 WM - Wellpreneurial Magazine | July 2017 | FREE Introductory Issue
