What has been the most challenging part of your
wellness based business to date?
Definitely marketing- trying to market your business
and stand out in a crowd. Unfortunately navigating
social media advertising and offline advertising can
be quite challenging. I have recently employed a
marketing company to assist me. This is a business
investment and one that is slowly beginning to pay
off.
Your business went through a branding overhaul recently
with Wellpreneur Magazine Founder, Kylie Malcolm. How
did that impact your business?
I had seen Kylie’s name mentioned in some of the health coaching groups I was a member of.
I remember thinking that I needed to know more about her services, so I began researching
her. I finally reached out and we spoke for 30 minutes. I am pretty sure I cried twice as she
just made me feel like everything was going to be okay.
Once qualified as a Health Coach I knew that I needed to change the structure of my business
to reflect this. My previous website was very much orientated around personal training and
nutrition. In order for me to branch out my business in the health coaching industry I had to
change my entire brand.
Kylie and I began to liaise with ideas and created a plan for the website re design. The entire
process was efficient and incredibly smooth. As soon as the rebranding was finished I
announced it on social media. Business has completely changed. I have had 15 clients move
through my 90 Day Transformation Program (my most expensive program) and my email list
has grown over 500% from beautifully presented freebies and other purchased programs.
I am now proud to direct people to my website as I believe it is a direct representation of who I
am and what I offer. It has not only impacted my business but also my confidence as a Health
Coach.
