On the corner of Market Street and Bank Street in New Albany is a Valentine Diner that was constructed in 1957 . Now it is the home to Lady Tron ’ s , a soup and sandwich shop with a retro outer space theme .
Lady Tron ’ s , 147 E Market St , New Albany , opened in 2017 as a new concept for the area offered by Summer Sieg . Now she co-owns the restaurant with her wife , Alexa Sieg .
The hours for the restaurant vary . It opens at 11 a . m . every day and stay open until 3 p . m . but they recommend calling before showing up if someone plans on coming after 2 p . m . Customers can also check their Facebook for updates at https :// www . facebook . com / ladytrons /
Summer has worked in many different restaurants for around 25 years . Throughout her time working in them , she always had the thought of opening up her own . When she and her brother saw that the Valentine Diner was for sale , it was the perfect timing , location and size for Summer .
Once she bought the diner , Summer named it Lady Tron ’ s , which is a nickname she has had for many years .
