You can find more castles outside the parks , including at Disney ’ s Old Key West , which is home to a massive sand castle — the type of castle that seems like it truly belongs in Florida . Head to the pool to see this marvel and take a 125-foot-long waterslide through the structure .
When Blizzard Beach reopened after its 2021 refurbishment , it featured some Frozen-themed additions , such as Anna and Elsa ’ s igloo castle at Tike ’ s Peak . Created for children under 4 feet tall , the igloo castle has figures of child versions of Anna and Elsa . The fortress also has play features like pop-up water jets . Although this fortress may be simple compared to the more intricate and detailed castles in the theme parks , it easily captures the imagination of small children .

Then there are the fantastical castles — one made of “ snow ” and “ ice ” and one made of “ sand ” — at Winter Summerland Miniature Golf . They ' re part of two 18- hole mini golf courses . The golf courses are near the entrance to Blizzard Beach , so you may have time to visit the Blizzard Beach castle and the mini golf castles all in one day .
