Rooms in the Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista are in two wings off the side of the main lobby , accessed from the exterior like at Disney ’ s Value and Moderate Resorts . These recently renovated rooms have an airy motif of soft green and include amenities such as a split bathroom and a mini fridge with a built-in freezer compartment . The rooms are compact and smartly designed , and the prices are lower than in the 19-story tower ( around $ 100 a night before taxes and fees , sometimes less !).

For a bit more money , you ’ ll get more space and bigger beds in the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista tower , which rises off the lobby . These rooms are decorated in blue and feature stunning lake views or Disney Springs views ( it ’ s cool to see Disney Springs light up at night , or watch the Rainforest Cafe volcano erupt from above ). Upgraded toiletries and additional seating that can be pulled out or tucked away give these rooms versatility .
The Wyndham LBV amenities are what truly won me over . I appreciate an afternoon by the pool or being able to get something to eat at any time of the day , no matter how early or late I ’ m in the parks . Here , options abound .
In addition to Sundial Cafe and Joffrey ’ s , I loved the breakfast buffet at LakeView Restaurant with made-to-order items and rotating hot and cold dishes . Eclipse
Though priced like a Value Resort , the Wyndham offers many perks and amenities on par with Moderate and Deluxe Resorts .
Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill provides a relaxing respite in a warm and homey restaurant . Celebrity Chef Puck stops in frequently to work directly with staff , who choose the best local , seasonal ingredients Florida has to offer . Order a pizza from the wood-fired oven to share with the table , perfectly complemented by the chef ’ s wine label ; choose from Wolfgang Puck Sauvignon Blanc , Pinot Noir , and Cabernet Sauvignon . Ask about the seasonal housemade pasta ( the sweet corn agnolotti we had was to die for ), or try the grilled pork chop or the local “ Dicuru ” burrata salad .
STK Steakhouse has all the buzzy vibes and moody ambiance of a big-city restaurant , nestled in the heart of Disney Springs . The menu includes modern takes on steakhouse classics , served with unexpected flair ( the signature butters are torched at the table !). Start with the award-winning Spiced Watermelon Cocktail , and pick your favorite cut of steak from an extensive list , prepared to your liking . Don ’ t sleep on the sweet corn pudding , house-made tater tots , or tuna tartare .
