Possibly the most mourned attraction to close in WDW ’ s history ( there were actual fan-led campaigns to save it !), Mr . Toad ’ s Wild Ride provided not one , but two different adventures for guests to experience after boarding their jalopies on a fast-paced dark ride straight to hell ( yes , you read that right !).
Today , you can experience an upgraded wild ride through the streets of London and the English countryside aboard a roadster ride vehicle at Disneyland in California . The WDW version was based on the original attraction there , but it was later revamped in 1983 to feature better effects , less flat scenery and characters , and an impressive queue area .
