EDGERTON BRANCH
Edgerton Branch Library had an exciting year. We remain a hub for the community providing many art, food, and crafting programs that have become quite popular with the public! The library hosted several art classes for our teens and adults, many leaving with wonderful creations, and asking,“ When’ s the next class?”
Our Summer Reading adventures began in June as we observed the“ Color our World” theme. Children enjoyed coloring their own library t-shirts, had fun with music in Drummunity, met animals from around the world with the Exotic Zoo, made lots of art projects, and marveled at the juggler that visited us in July.
The month of August was back to school, but not without our visiting the open house at Edgerton Schools to hand out library information and fun items for the students.
Baby and Toddler Story Time on Wednesdays has a healthy following of toddlers and preschoolers, who with their parents, enjoy Miss Liz’ s fun approach to life!
The kids didn’ t have school on September 9th, so we invited our friends from Camp Palmer, who put on a spectacular reptile show! Then again on October 20th, we hosted a Halloween Party for the kids who didn ' t have school that day.
The Library hosted two senior citizen breakfasts— one in May and another in December. Both events displayed a healthy attendance by members of our community. Fellowship, delicious food and tea, along with entertainment was enjoyed by all!
The library paired with the Friends of the Edgerton Library to co-sponsor an outdoor concert for our community, at Fleo’ s Flicks. The band,“ Proud Mary” out of Bryan, left our guests so impressed, we invited them back for another concert in June of 2026.
