Wood cabinets were handscraped and refaced by Joe to
restore their natural luster alongside the cast iron stove imported
from Ireland. Grace transformed
real coffee bean sacks into curtains and installed a handmade
stained glass panel across the
window over the sink. The
table for two in the corner is a
refurbished half-door panel.
Leather, stone, wood and
wrought iron elements abound in
this living room with cathedralstyle ceiling. A mirror over the
leather couch is framed with
oxidized copper leaves and
berries. In it is reflected the floor
to ceiling fieldstone fireplace that
boasts a distressed mantle. A
pellet stove has been installed in
the existing opening and is used
as a significant heat source.
On the second level is the
master bedroom and only bathroom in the house. A painted ➤
