With the entire New York State in drought watch places like Crawford are beginning to be careful with their water usage .

McKelvey said the Town Board will ask the fire department to do a survey of the hydrants . They will be going to all 107 hydrants and checking them over for problems and making sure they work for the possibility of an emergency .
