and won in other classes boosting the International entry numbers . Loving it . Did I mention there are no day classes tomorrow ? Sleeping in !
Day 5
Well I did sleep in and then went shopping ( there went all my coins ) it was at this point that the day shifted and went to hades in a hand basket . Getting word that our boss was in the ER due to blood sugar malfunctions , Deedee Miller and myself curtailed our shopping spree and went to the ER where we discovered Tommy lying on a gurney in the ER hallway where “ we ” stayed for most of Tuesday . Finally ‘ we ” were moved to an ER room . In the mean time Tommy wisely appointed Rhonda Martocci and Jodi DeDecker-Bubar as Co Chairman of the InternationalShow until he was stabilized and up and running . These two women did a superb job of handling the awesome responsibilities associated with the job . Our thanks to Rhonda and Jodi for stepping up and stepping in as well as a huge thank you to the exhibitors for their cooperation . Tommy sends his heartfelt thanks for your prayers , kindness and comments .
Watching the show on the phone from Tommy ’ s bed was not ideal but we did see the show ! About this time I am wondering where the Rowdy Ranch Crew was —— -getting a tad hungry — they won ’ t let Tommy have even a sip of water .
The First Time International Exhibitors Class is coming in . WOW ! A very full class . This is another of Tommy ’ s great ideas . WHOA introduced First Time Exhibitors Ribbons several years ago and they are very well received . been well filled . This gives these riders whether young or old , a chance to receive a lovely reminder of their first International experience .

Lisa Steinbach and Tracy Pinson collected several good versatility ribbons .
The Ellis Farms team enjoyed a great International .
At The International this too , is a great thing for exhibitors . The All Day Pleasure Youth 11and Under was another full class with several brand new riders showing for their first ever ride in The Miller . Coliseum .
All classes are filled with good horses , our youth riders are doing a terrific job of showing . The youth classes are well filled and the youth know how to show off their mounts to the best of their abilities . I don ’ t know if the youth have heard about the Gilbert & Evelyn Miller Sportsmanship Scholarship to be awarded or not but all the youth are displaying exemplary manners . I do mean all of them . Each youth has thanked me and smiled when receiving their ribbons no matter what color the ribbon was . How nice ! I sure felt blessed to be around such mannerly riders .
How about former TWH owner-rider- video star , James Sigmon racking his way to a very good ribbon ? Welcome back to the International , James ! Dang it , I missed seeing my buddy ’ s return to the International . Tommy ’ s sugar level has remained down a bit so we might get to go to a real room ! We did and Deedee escaped to get us food ( A piece of grilled chicken for Tommy and monster chicken sandwiches for Sis and Deedee , also a phone charger for the Boss Dude so he can watch the show ). 2 am — Tommy stabilized — we are back to the motel bed bound — -the saying “ Don ’ t let the door hit ya in the a $$” provided a laugh as I “ carded ” the entry door to get in the motel ( doors are locked after 11 and one must use their room card ” well when I leaned way over to card the do thingy the automatic very quick door knocked me into the baggage cart giving one of us a good laugh and the other a hurt booty !
Speaking of number of entries — -tomorrow night THE MAIDEN CLASS has 60 entries making for a 4 way split . The class is already the talk of the show The
