MORE THAN AN AGENDA

Visit Baltimore launched a new advertising campaign to position the city as a competitive destination for meetings and conventions that plays on the duality of the meetings experience. The creative juxtaposes familiar conference moments with the dining, culture, entertainment and neighborhood experiences that make attendees excited to visit Baltimore. Production included a dedicated photo and video shoot featuring Baltimore’ s meeting spaces and destination experiences. The campaign was executed with a digital-first strategy, including social and video advertising, geofencing at key industry events and placements in trade publications to keep Baltimore top-ofmind for future business.

PARTNERING FOR IMPACT

Over the past year, Visit Baltimore has been collaborating more closely with other counties and jurisdictions. Thanks in part to grant funds provided by the Maryland Office of Tourism Development, we are an active member of two regional initiatives designed to drive awareness, visitation and economic impact.
Meet in Maryland is a consortium of destination marketing organizations( DMOs) that promotes the heart of the mid-Atlantic as a premier destination for meetings and events, maximizing resources to amplify our exposure.
Maryland International Marketing Partnership is a state-sponsored approach to attracting international visitors who spend more money and take longer trips than domestic travelers. This initiative replaces the dissolved Capital Region USA to ensure a continued global presence, particularly in the UK and Canada.
