Adventures in EduSTEMLandia: A creative STEM Journey by Simona Ghenea
EduSTEMLandia, and the activities were designed to stimulate curiosity, problemsolving, and collaboration.
A world created by children to explore science differently What happens when the boundaries between learning and play disappear, and children become explorers of knowledge in a world they build themselves? The eTwinning project“ Adventures in EduSTEMLandia” offers a creative and innovative answer to this question. More than a simple educational initiative focused on STEM topics, it evolved into a transformative learning experience for students from Romania, Turkey, and the Czech Republic, guided by fourteen dedicated teachers who formed a vibrant and collaborative learning community.
Although EduSTEMLandia was an imaginary world, the pedagogy behind it was deeply rooted in reality. Together, students and teachers explored how to build a sustainable, innovative, and empathetic project by using science, creativity, and the power of storytelling to bring great meaning to the learning process.

From learners to creators Students were thrilled to become content creators. They invented STEM superheroes, illustrated them or generated them using AI tools, then developed original stories and educational missions, each assigned to protect a specific region of EduSTEMLandia.
A digital Escape Room, collaboratively built in Genially, challenged students with science puzzles and riddles designed to bring this fantasy world to life in an engaging way.
One of the highlights was the Metaverse exhibition, where each team presented their guides and activities, contributing to the ongoing digital narrative story that shaped the project ' s storyline.
