Visibility of eTwinning Projects Group July 2025 Newsletter entire imaginary world. Their genuine involvement helped them develop a wide range of competencies, including digital, linguistic, social, civic, and artistic skills.
Digital tools such as Canva, Genially, Book Creator, Wakelet, and Padlet have become natural extensions of students ' creativity and teachers ' collaborative efforts.
Transdisciplinary learning and international mindset Adventures in EduSTEMLandia is a remarkable example of authentic transdisciplinary learning, where science was naturally combined with art, foreign languages, digital literacy, and civic values. Students engaged in inquiry-based tasks, decision-making processes, and role-playing scenarios – essential contexts for developing 21st-century skills.
The international structure of the teams brought valuable cultural and linguistic dimensions. Communication in English via TwinSpace and regular online meetings helped students develop openness to diversity, while collaboration became the catalyst for deep learning.
In addition to these creative challenges, students also explored real-life science role models by researching and presenting local scientists and inventors from their regions. They brought these figures to life through presentations, role-play activities, and interactive games, developing both their communication skills and their understanding of how science is rooted in community history and identity. This activity helped bridge the gap between imaginative STEM exploration and real-world scientific contribution, further grounding the learning experience in local culture( link here).
Impact on students and teachers Beyond the many digital outcomes, the project generated a decisive mindset shift. Students became more confident, curious, and open to exploring STEM in a personal and creative way. They discovered that science can be playful, technology can be a friend, and learning – when filled with meaning – can become a true, momentous adventure.
Teachers also experienced meaningful professional growth. Co-planning, pedagogical reflection, and idea sharing led to a renewed approach to teaching and learning, and increased openness to innovation.
