M. A. S. T. E. R. – Explorers in Science, United through eTwinning by Mihaela Git and Ludmila Cojocari
In a world of constant change, education must overcome disciplinary barriers and prepare students for the realities of the 21st century. The eTwinning M. A. S. T. E. R. project- Mathematics, Art, Science, Technology for Educational Resilience- brought together schools from several European countries in an initiative that aimed to develop students ' mathematical, scientific and financial skills, through an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approach. and geometry through a collaborative, interdisciplinary and digital approach. Inspired by concepts such as polygonal numbers, arithmetic and geometric sequences or classical algebraic identities, students explored how these abstract ideas can be translated into visual forms, interactive models and games. During the activity, students worked in international teams, used their creativity and mathematical knowledge to interpret and model the geometry of numbers using modern tools such as GeoGebra or Scratch. They designed and solved original problems, built visual demonstrations and brought mathematics to life through interactive games made with applications such as LearningApps, Genially or Wordwall. The integration of mathematics, science, art and technology into practical activities allowed students to discover the applicability of knowledge in everyday life, to collaborate internationally and to transform learning into a reality-based experience. From scientific experiments and mathematical models to creative projects and civic engagement, students worked in teams and communicated in English, developing not only their academic skills, but also their digital, social and linguistic skills.
The activity“ Geometry of Numbers” offered students the opportunity to discover the connections between algebra
