In the Gold, Silver and Bronze Sections activity, students explored the fundamental mathematical concepts that define them, thus discovering the deep connection between mathematics, art and the world around them. This interdisciplinary experience stimulated both their analytical thinking and aesthetic sense.
Students identified these harmonious proportions in the human body, in the forms of nature, in architecture and in works of art, realizing how ubiquitous they are in everyday life. Using the GeoGebra platform, they created original geometric models inspired by these sections, transforming theory into practice. The activity was a valuable opportunity for the exchange of ideas and for the application of mathematical knowledge in diverse visual and cultural contexts, thus strengthening interdisciplinary understanding: https:// masteretwinningproject. wordpress. com / mathematics-in-the-art-of-sections /.
The activity“ The Circle in Science and Art” led to the exploration of this theme from different perspectives. The close connection between mathematics, science, art, technology and literature was confirmed this time as well.
The circle is more than a geometric figure. It is the symbol of perfection, the cyclicity of nature, unity and balance.
Through this project, we explored the connections between disciplines, demonstrating that learning can be interdisciplinary, interactive and deeply meaningful. The final product is the collaborative ebook: https:// heyzine. com / flipbook / 2699735ed3. html.
