• ChatterPix – an app for creating talking animations delivering internet safety messages.
• Kahoot – an interactive quiz platform used to test acquired knowledge.
• Mosaically – used to create mosaic portraits of famous women for International Women’ s Day.
• AI – used in creative tasks like generating poems and robot design suggestions.
• eTwinning Live & TwinSpace – platforms for communication, organization, and dissemination.
• Wordwall – for creating interactive educational games and knowledge reinforcement.
• Wikipedia – used as a research tool for the history of toys, bows, and dolls.
• YouTube – for watching tutorials and educational content about toys and robot programming.
• Emaze – to create interactive and visually engaging presentations.
• Genially – for designing interactive materials like infographics and escape rooms.
• Traditional and recyclable materials – for hands-on activities like toy and robot crafting.
The implementation of the project involved students, parents, and teachers from the participating schools, all of whom responded with enthusiasm and openness. As a result of their involvement in the eTwinning project, students became more engaged, confident, responsible, and motivated. Their interpersonal relationships improved significantly. Teamwork, translation skills, and digital competencies were also enhanced. The
project stimulated imagination and encouraged healthy competition.
For teachers, this project created opportunities to learn from partner schools, enriching their professional and methodological experience. This exchange of knowledge made their work more interesting and valuable.
Cătălina Rusu is a primary schoolteacher at Middle School Elena Cuza in Iași, Romania. Her students are 7 years old, being in the preparatory class. She is an active person who loves travelling, meeting new places and experiencing new things. She enjoys challenges and doing good things. She likes this project as it has brought joy and satisfaction to her students.
Ana Suciu is a primary schoolteacher at Patrichie Popescu Gymnasium School in Bata, Arad county, Romania. She has been working with dedication in primary education for many years. She strongly believes that every child deserves access to quality education, whether they study in a big city school or in a small rural one. She enjoys exploring modern teaching methods and offering her students diverse learning experiences that spark their curiosity and develop their creativity.
