Visibility of eTwinning Projects Group July 2025 Newsletter
International collaboration Teachers and students from various countries worked closely together, exchanging ideas and outcomes through TwinSpace. The project promoted intercultural awareness and teamwork, encouraging students to learn from one another while having fun.
By combining the charm of Pete the Cat with the excitement of STEM exploration, this eTwinning project became a favourite among both students and teachers. It is a powerful example of how literature can be used as a gateway to scientific discovery, creativity, and international friendship.
The project coordinators ensured that every activity was child-friendly, aligned with early education goals, and adaptable to different learning styles.
Achievements and impact“ STEM with Pete Is Really Great” succeeded in making STEM accessible and enjoyable for young learners. The project: * Improved students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills; * Increased engagement with STEM and literacy; * Boosted confidence in communicating ideas using digital tools; * Created a strong sense of European community and collaboration.
Nicoletta Huștiuc is an early childhood education teacher in Cugir, Alba County, at Vinerea preprimary school. She has been working in education for 25 years and she is an ambassador for eTwinning, Erasmus +, Scientix, Book Creator, and a Code Week Leading Teacher. She is passionate about everything related to internationalization and quality in education, as well as about the children she guides to learn through play.
Keziban Armağan is a pre-primary schoolteacher. She has been working for 19 years. She likes using projects in her lessons because nursery school students like researching and discovering and they can learn easily with projects. eTwinning is the best choice!
