Effective teamwork & teacher collaboration Collaboration was at the heart of success. Teachers jointly developed timelines, coordinated responsibilities, and ensured an inclusive and balanced distribution of tasks. Activities were co-created across borders— from surveys and netiquette presentations to card exchanges and student-led storytelling. Communication thrived on TwinSpace, alongside daily chats via WhatsApp and Google Drive.
Prioritizing safety and digital responsibility The project placed high importance on GDPR compliance, netiquette, and copyright respect. Students used avatars or first names only, and all materials were either original or properly attributed. Each school collected parental consent and facilitated activities that promoted digital safety through visual media and engaging class discussions.
Learning by doing: a pedagogical win Through group work, inquiry-based learning, storytelling, and role-play, students developed:
• Digital literacy and safe online habits
• Communication and collaboration skills
• Creativity and emotional intelligence
• Multilingual abilities and civic awareness
Student voices and creative impact Students worked in color-coded teams to co-create a healthy nutrition eBook, took part in logo competitions, and contributed artworks, verses, and voice recordings. For Safer Internet Day, they co-wrote an acrostic poem in the project forum, reinforcing lessons in eSafety and respectful digital behaviour. Final products— including videos, books, songs, and a fairytale— were published online to showcase their achievements.
The project’ s flexible design also allowed full alignment with the Romanian national curriculum, blending academic standards with European collaboration and innovation.
Results, reflections & recognition The impact was evaluated through preand post-project surveys for teachers, students, and parents. Reflections were shared after each major task, and the project wrapped up with a joyful student meeting and an international quiz celebration. Dissemination efforts included:
• School blogs and social media updates
