Throughout the project, pupils developed a wide range of key competences:
• Citizenship and cultural expression, by exploring autumn traditions;
• Communication in mother tongue, through poetry and storytelling;
• Multilingual competence, using English in real interactions;
• Scientific skills, through observation, analysis, and experiments;
• Digital competence, through online content creation and digital tools;
• Social and civic skills, by working in teams, showing empathy and responsibility;
• Learning to learn, through curiositydriven, reflective, and cooperative learning. with peers from other countries, and experience the power of teamwork. The final products shared on TwinSpace reflected not only their academic progress but also the active role of families and the impact of intercultural collaboration. This project stands as a model of good practice in inclusive education and interdisciplinary learning, showing that every child can thrive when provided with the right tools, guidance, and encouragement.
Tatiana Silveșan is a primary school teacher at the Centre for Inclusive Education in Beclean, Romania. She has been an eTwinning Ambassador since 2016. With a deep commitment to inclusive education, she has consistently integrated eTwinning projects into her classroom practice, recognizing their transformative potential for students with special educational needs. These projects provide a dynamic and supportive environment where all children, regardless of their abilities, can engage in collaborative, creative, and meaningful learning experiences. Through international partnerships and innovative approaches, eTwinning has allowed her students to connect beyond borders, enhance their digital and communication skills, and develop a stronger sense of self-confidence and belonging. Tatiana believes that inclusive, intercultural collaboration is key to building a more empathetic and forward-thinking generation.
