International Collaboration and Creative Expression
“ E-Tales of Safety – A Journey Towards Online Responsibility” is an international eTwinning project that united brought together 28 educators and nearly 300 students from 13 European countries to explore the challenges and responsibilities associated with online safety.
Through collaborative activities, digital storytelling, and cross-cultural exchange, participants explored important topics such as cyberbullying, digital footprints, online privacy and respectful digital communication.
The eTwinning project“ E-Tales of Safety – A Journey Towards Online Responsibility” is an innovative educational initiative aimed at raising awareness among primary school students about the importance of safe and responsible internet use. In today’ s digital age, students face numerous online risks daily— from fake news and internet scams to cyberbullying and social media addiction. This project encourages students to think critically, develop digital literacy, and recognize the potential dangers they may encounter while navigating online content.
The project provided students with handson opportunities to examine critically their digital environments while developing essential skills for safe and responsible online behaviour.
Workshops and creative work At the beginning of the project, students participated in two introductory workshops:“ Online Safety” and“ What is Artificial Intelligence” designed by project coordinators Burcu Altiparmak Ekinci and Anna Jałoszewska.
These sessions helped students learn how to use digital tools creatively with a strong emphasis on safe and responsible online behaviour.
