Team 1 conducted interviews about gender roles and organized a municipal photo contest titled“ Her Story Through My Lens”, open to students across Chișinău, our capital city. The submitted photos were used to design a collaborative digital calendar disseminating important project information on women’ s rights and achievements. The“ Letter to the Future” activity invited students to write heartfelt letters to“ a future woman,” encouraging personal reflection on the hopes and challenges women may face in the years ahead.
Team 2 conducted an interview on gender discrimination and women’ s stereotypes and promoted their call-to-action video to raise awareness on a broader scale. They also wrote a comparative article on the films Suffragette( 2015) and 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days( 2007) as a way to raise awareness about the ongoing challenges women face in different societies. By analysing and sharing these powerful narratives, they aimed to spark reflection and dialogue among their peers, using film as a tool to highlight the
importance of women’ s rights and to inspire critical thinking and civic engagement. In addition, they organized a“ Chocokindness” activity aimed at spreading kindness, positivity, and joy through small, thoughtful gestures. Chocolates were distributed in public spaces, each accompanied by an uplifting message designed to foster a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels seen and valued.
Team 3 hosted a“ Women’ s History Month” Kahoot quiz in the high school hallway that tested knowledge, sparked curiosity, and helped participants discover key facts about the women’ s rights movement. They also set up an interactive photo booth that drew significant attention, inviting students to engage visually and emotionally by taking photos and embracing empowering messages such as # ForAllWomenAndGirls and“ GIRLS GOT IT.” Additionally, they conducted a“ Women in Society” survey, which created space for deeper reflection and gave girls an opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings about their roles in school and society. They also created a Google site to celebrate Moldovan actresses and promote gender equality. Through this website, the team aimed to raise awareness about women’ s achievements and inspire others with their creativity and strength.
