These activities gave voice to older generations, creating powerful moments of empathy, shared memory, and dialogue. They also helped bridge digital and generational divides, as students supported grandparents in using technology and understanding modern tools. Most importantly, grandparents felt valued, respected, and listened to – a rare and meaningful experience in today’ s fastpaced world.
Alina Ramona Vlad is a teacher of English. She holds a B. A. in English Language and Literature. She is a coordinator of students preparing for the Cambridge Exams. She facilitates wide access to educational resources and promotes equal opportunities for all students from socioprofessional perspective. She has been taking part in Erasmus + and eTwinning projects for 5 years now, and she is interested in promoting intercultural communication and dialogue, exchanging good practices and bringing novelty into students’ lives.
In conclusion, GrAIny TrAIny cultivated much more than knowledge. It nurtured connection, reflection, resilience, and joy. It reminded students and teachers alike that education is most powerful when it is collaborative, creative, and rooted in shared human experience. And it left behind a legacy of digital and emotional skills that will continue to shape future learning journeys – across borders and generations.
