Our fourth podcast episode took us from sound to movement, as students explored the traditional dances of their countries. Building on the musical knowledge they had already gained, they researched the rhythms, origins and cultural meanings behind these expressive forms of art. Students investigated when and where these dances first appeared, the occasions they were performed and the instruments

After weeks of exploring music traditions, folk songs, instruments, and dances, students came together to share their personal highlights and favorite discoveries from the project.
