During this period , " teaching-learning " moved predominantly to the online environment , and the challenges faced by schools in Romania were related to : ● Lack of predictability ; ● Heterogeneous school network , with a strong digital gap between educational units ; ● Insufficiently developed digital skills for the effective organization of the didactic process in the online environment ; ● Reduced access to technology and reduced internet connectivity ; ● The reduced possibilities of families to support the beneficiaries of education , the children , for participating in online lessons .
The Slovak school embraced the digitization of contents , prior to the pandemic demonstrating adaptability and innovation in the instructional-educational process . The implementation of the electronic system in the school with student registration , the electronic class system , the contents of the lessons available at the time of the start , the electronic documents , the free hot lunch served by the Slovak state to each student , the effective integration of Ukrainian refugees represented good European educational practices to be reflected , valued also for Romanian schools .
The activities carried out within the group mobility of students consisted of holding joint classes with Slovak students , each Romanian student having a Slovak student tutor for guidance in the school , bilingual classes in English / German / Slovak using teamwork , project-based learning especially digital learning . Students were involved in STEAM activities in different subjects , discussions about bullying and anti-bullying . An important aspect in the group activity was realized through discussions on the theme of ecology because the host school has many activities for green skills , on involvement in activities based on sports and common hobbies .
The Romanian students together with the Slovak students socialized the second part of the day participating in the study visits of the Bardejov Historical Centre and Gothic Cathedral , the Bardejov Spa mineral springs , the Village Museum , the city ' s hockey arena . The mobility was organized during the Easter vacation to avoid dysfunctions in the education process and to offer them the
