Visibility of eTwinning Projects Group July 2023 Newsletter
The Global Kids project was a successful collaboration on the eTwinning platform . Thanks to the collaboration of project partners , we had the opportunity to get new ideas for creative educational activities and to integrate new web2.0 tools into our project . Students learned to work in teams , were encouraged to cultivate respect for others , what global diversity means but also national identity , leading to the development of language and multicultural skills , skills in the use of IT tools , environmental education , improving the level of knowledge of culture , civilization , history and geography related to partner countries .

Alina Vlad is a teacher of English . She holds a B . A . in English Language and Literature . She is a coordinator of students preparing for the Cambridge Exams , facilitating wide access to educational resources and promoting equal opportunities for all students from socioprofessional perspective . She has taken part in Erasmus + and eTwinning projects for 5 years now , and she is interested in promoting intercultural communication and dialogue , exchange of good practices and bringing novelty into her students ’ lives .
The idea of our project “ Share our local heritage ” was created during the eTwinning Seminar on Rural Areas in Madrid in June / July 2022 . It should be realized as a short-term project for eTwinning newcomers in the first half of this school year . Due to the complications with new eTwinning platform , it was started later - in January 2023 – and the project team increased in 8 members . The participants of the project were one Spanish , one Polish , two Czech , two Slovak and two Romanian schools . In some outputs , the Ukrainian heritage also occurs – thanks to immigrant-pupils from Ukraine . Four schools are located in rural areas ; four schools are situated in bigger towns or cities . Four members were newcomers in eTwinning , four members were experienced eTwinners ( three of them are eTwinning ambassadors ) who led
