The project involved two founding schools : eTwinning School " San Tarcisio - Bimbi Lieti " in Ercolano , Italy , with teachers Loredana Ursini , Cira Serio , Mariaflora Salemme , Antonietta Noviello , and Serena Cozzolino , and eTwinning School " Ilia Qiqi " in Burrel , Albania , with teachers Dhurata Cuka , Rinita Hasa , Ensuida Selaj , Lazime Lika , and Xhoana Terziu . We also collaborated with the partner school IC Pascoli in Urbino , Italy , with teachers Carla Sfara and Francesca Corea . Each school formed pairs of student tutors and tutees . The older and more experienced student tutors provided constant support and guidance to the younger and less experienced student tutees throughout the journey .
During the project , we carried out a series of interdisciplinary activities and challenges based on STEM and civic education . Students were engaged in solving real-world problems , working in teams and utilizing their skills and knowledge to find innovative solutions . This not only enhanced their STEM skills but also their social , civic , and digital competencies .
We organized multiple online meetings that facilitated knowledge-sharing among students from partner schools . Teachers played a guiding and facilitating role , promoting active learning and providing personalized support to each student .
The activities held during the Safer Internet Day encouraged students to reflect on their online presence and the sharing of personal information . Through the educational game " Interland : Be Internet Awesome " created by Google , students gained awareness of the risks and opportunities of the digital world , developing a critical and responsible mindset . Minecraft Education ' s worlds " Privacy Policy " and " Cybersafe : Home Sweet Hmm " offered
students an engaging and interactive virtual environment to explore privacy and online safety topics . In " Privacy Policy ," students explored concepts related to the protection of personal data , understanding how sensitive information should be managed and safeguarded . In " Cybersafe : Home Sweet Hmm ," they faced challenges related to online security , learning how to recognize and prevent cyber threats like cyberbullying . Through these gaming activities , students developed advanced digital skills , learning to use technology safely and responsibly .
Another highly engaging activity was planting seeds to cultivate a better future for our students , youth , elders , and the entire world . The families of our three schools actively participated , collaborating side by side with us , as we believe a better future is possible when we work as a supportive team , putting our knowledge and skills to the progress of humanity .
The future we strive to build is characterized by peace , solidarity , and collaboration among peoples . It is a future where technology is used to expand our knowledge in fields like science , biology , chemistry , space exploration , and to aid those in need , those who cannot see , hear , or walk ... A technology that is no longer used to insult and discriminate against people .
Our future is green like nature , like hope , like youth , and blue like the sky that overlooks each one of us . It is a future full of joy , friendship , and brotherhood ... and it is as blue as our beloved Europe ! We are working for a better future . Join us too !
Throughout the journey , we attached great importance to the inclusion of students and
