At the heart of the project was the promotion of active student learning and participation , encouraging them to become informed and competent citizens in the modern world . The project also aimed to raise awareness about safe and responsible internet use , a critical skill in our digital society .
To achieve our goals , we employed innovative pedagogical approaches such as project-based learning , which prompted students to solve problems by working in teams and approaching tasks critically , seeking solutions based on research and logical reasoning . This approach helped students gain a deeper understanding of the practical applications of theoretical knowledge while developing problem-solving and collaboration skills .
The student-centred learning approach placed students at the centre of the entire educational process within the project . They had an active role , enhancing their motivation and engagement . Peer tutoring and peer learning fostered learning among peers , allowing students to learn from each other and share their ideas , knowledge , and skills . This led students to appreciate and value different perspectives , fostering empathy and teamwork .
