Visibility of eTwinning Projects Group July 2023 Newsletter
Students really liked the creation of games and that results in a quite big collection of online games , especially when we consider the limited time for the project activities in most schools . The creation of online games was activity which requested an intensive collaboration and excellent time scheduling , because all the games were based on the topic of previous magazine and should be completed before publishing the next number of magazine . To organise playing of those games schools had more time , students had an opportunity to play games until the end of the project in the middle of June 2023 . But , thanks to displaying our project posters with QR codes for games , we made all games easily accessible at any time for all students .
Together with our project partners , we participated in the " Digital Cleanup Day " events , which is a global action . Through these activities , our students learned that junk e- mails , files , applications , copies of photos and videos create a huge pile of digital waste on our devices and increase energy consumption . Our students supported " Digital Cleanup Day " activities by deleting unnecessary and unused documents , applications and programs from digital devices in our school and contributed to reducing CO 2 emissions for our planet .
Other activities At the beginning of the project , schools introduced themselves and added their locations to Google Maps . Teachers agreed on the e-safety rules that will be applied during this project at the TwinSpace forum . The agreed rules are shown on a two-part poster .
During the project our students participated in more activities apart from the main project tasks ( creation of magazines and games ). At the beginning of the project students created word clouds and shared their work on Padlet . In December students exchanged Christmas and New Year greetings , also on Padlet .
