A Borderless Community of Eco Citizens Group work was the heartbeat of this project. Instead of working in isolation, students were placed in cross-border teams where they discovered they shared the same anxieties and challenges. A student in Cimislia, Moldova, collaborated with a peer in Türkiye to evaluate household water statistics. They realized that while their geographic locations differed, their consumption patterns and the resulting environmental pressures were identical. This shared struggle fostered a sense of global citizenship. This shift from classroom theory to daily green habits demonstrates the power of the STEAM approach.
