divide us; it enriches us. They experienced that cooperation is stronger than competition and that cultural diversity is an opportunity for growth rather than an obstacle.
For the first time, pupils were writing not only for their classmates, but for peers living hundreds or even thousands of kilometres away. Every page became a bridge, and every word an act of peace. Technology was never the project ' s final goal. Instead, it became the means through which amazing relationships could flourish.
TwinSpace evolved into a shared learning space where ideas, photographs, videos and reflections travelled daily from one school to another. Through this continuous exchange, children who had never met in person gradually built friendships, learned to collaborate and discovered that they belonged to one European learning community.
Learning Beyond the Curriculum The project ' s greatest achievement was not the shared logo, the collaborative e- book or the final video. Its greatest achievement was the transformation that took place within the children themselves. They discovered that peace is something we build together. They realised that listening to different perspectives does not
Through authentic experiences and collaborative learning, pupils developed communication, digital, social and intercultural competences while learning to dialogue respectfully, share responsibilities, solve problems together and recognise themselves as active European citizens.
The project demonstrated how eTwinning can transform a local educational experience into an international laboratory for peace education, where the European Key Competences naturally develop through active participation, innovative creativity and harmonious and synergistic cooperation.
Teachers also witnessed remarkable changes. Pupils became more curious, empathetic and willing to collaborate. The mission entrusted by the Peace Run athletes continued to inspire everyday classroom activities, reminding everyone that even the smallest actions can contribute to building a more peaceful world.
A Mission That Continues The project has come to an end. The mission has not. The bridges built throughout this experience continue to live on through the friendships that were created, the memories that were shared and the new international collaborations that have grown from them.
