complete phrase and the full project logo were finally brought together.
Through this symbolic experience, children discovered that peace is not created by the work of one person alone. It takes shape when everyone contributes their own ideas, culture, creativity and commitment.
This collaborative spirit accompanied every stage of the project, nurturing empathy, intercultural dialogue, critical thinking and an ever-growing sense of belonging to a wider European community.
A Year of Building Bridges The entire project was built around the acronym B. R. I. D. G. E. S., with each letter representing a key educational theme developed throughout the school year: Buddies, to build friendships and get to know one another; Running, inspired by the Peace Run and its values of solidarity and peace;
Imagining, dedicated to creativity and the collaborative poetry collection Poems of Peace; Dancing & Singing, where pupils collaboratively wrote the lyrics of a peace song; they later set it to music with the support of artificial intelligence; Gaming, through cooperative games and citizenship activities promoting peace and inclusion; Exploring, to discover the cultural and natural heritage of each partner country; Sharing, to document, celebrate and disseminate the project ' s essential outcomes.
Together, these seven " bridges " guided pupils throughout the school year, transforming the crucial mission entrusted by the Peace Run athletes into a meaningful and vital journey of collaboration, creativity and active European citizenship.
Children introduced themselves to their new European friends through notable videos and digital presentations. They shared traditions, discovered local cultures, sang and danced together, explored their local environments and exchanged stories that highlighted not only their differences but, above all, the values they shared.
One of the project ' s most meaningful outcomes was the collaborative e-book Poems of Peace, created in response to the mission entrusted by the Peace Run athletes. Every poem, acrostic, illustration and personal reflection became a concrete expression of the children ' s commitment to peace.
